Washington Hall Mainstage with 1st electric in

The Washington Hall Mainstage Theatre is a 550 seat auditorium suitable for theatrical productions, musicals, pageants, large meetings, and lectures. Available technology includes a fully programmable lighting console, and touch screens with preset stage and house "looks." This flexibility gives users the option to program very precise lighting for events or simply touch a button for pre-programmed lighting. There are two audio mixing positions: one located in the tech booth, and the other located in the balcony. The Mainstage Theatre is complete with an NEC laser projector and a 20' X 13' screen. Flexible connectivity allows a presentation laptop to be located anywhere on stage, in the front row of seats, or at the audio mix position.  A video switcher is available to route several devices to the screen during presentations.

The Mainstage may be reserved for recognized student groups, residence halls, and university departments. Student groups and residence halls have scheduling priority through the priority date selection period.  Notification forms are sent to club officers and rectors in the spring semester and groups submit their top three choices of performance dates. Once the student’s dates are scheduled, requests from other campus groups are considered.
