Student Groups

PEMCO How to Succeed

Student clubs, organizations, and residence halls may request the use of any Washington Hall venue. These groups have scheduling priority through the priority date selection period. Notification forms are sent to club officers and rectors in the spring semester, and groups submit their top three choices of performance or event dates. Once the student’s dates are scheduled, requests from other campus groups are considered on a first-come, first-served basis.

In order to successfully and safely manage events in Washington Hall, overall calendar and staffing obligations will be considered when reviewing scheduling requests. The complexity of the productions will be considered, and time allotment will be determined by the Washington Hall Facility Manager.

All booking requests should be sent directly to the Washington Hall Facility Manager for schedule coordination. Once a specific date or schedule is determined, the club officer will be directed to submit an NDCentral request for the activity. Please allow 10 days for the NDCentral approval process. No activity can be permitted without an approved NDCentral request. Confirmation will be sent by the Washington Hall Facility Manager.

Steps for booking an event with rehearsals:

  1. A club officer should email the requested dates to Washhall@nd.edu
  2. When instructed, submit an NDCentral request for the activity or event.
  3. If approved, you will receive an email confirmation with further instructions.

Steps for booking a rehearsal only:

  1. Email your rehearsal request to Washhall@nd.edu.
  2. Please indicate the name of the group requesting the rehearsal.
  3. Please indicate the exact dates and times that your group would like to book.
  4. If instructed, submit an NDCentral request for the rehearsal.
  5. If approved, you will receive an email confirmation with further instructions.

*Note that a new NDCentral request is not required for rehearsals associated with an approved Washington Hall event.
