The Student Manager position provides a unique opportunity for students to find a meaningful campus job which exposes them to a variety of events in an atmosphere that promotes collaboration and teamwork. Student Managers are responsible for a variety of support roles at Washington Hall.  They monitor scheduled building activity, lock and unlock spaces and assist users with key access. Student Managers also set-up audio-visual & lighting equipment for events and assist our staff on other projects as necessary.  Student Managers must be energetic, detail-oriented, and friendly. They must also be able to adapt to changing circumstances and have the ability to work alone or as part of a team. The position requires some lifting/moving of equipment and climbing stairs.  The schedule is flexible based on activities and events held in the facility. Shifts are selected at a brief weekly meeting. Shifts generally do not conflict with academic classes, University breaks, or home football Saturdays. All Student Managers must be willing to work nights and weekends.
